How female banker committed suicide in Lagos

A female banker working in one of the upcoming banks in Ikorodu areas of Lagos State, has allegedly committed suicide.
The deceased, who was identified as Amarachi Ugochukwu, (32) a marketing personnel of the bank was said to have drank a substance suspected to insecticide.
Newsreportersng.com learnt that the incident happened on Monday January 8, 2024 within the premises of the bank.
Witnesses said Ugochukwu had around 1pm made her way into the restroom, where she drank the insecticide, unknown to her colleagues.
Amarachi was said to have left a suicide note, where she allegedly poured out her frustrations,  complaining bitterly about herself and her failures to achieve some certain things and also expressing doubt about herself and her ability to  make it in life.

Her alleged suicide note reads in parts: “Nothing is working in my life. My figures are low. My brain is clogged up. The economy is getting harder. My decisions are wrong. My mind is messed up. The future doesn’t seem bright at all. I see extreme hardship. I can’t bear the pain anymore.”

Ugochukwu apologised to her parents and other members of her family in the suicide note.
